• Tabs: To activate the extension instantly on open Gemini pages without requiring a refresh.

• Host Permissions (*://gemini.google.com/*): To restrict our extension's access solely to the Google Gemini domain.

The extension uses the open-source Mermaid.js library for rendering. This library runs entirely locally within the extension's environment.
